The Evolution of India’s Castle in Greenwood Village
India’s Castle Restaurant opened its doors for business in 2005. The locally owned family restaurant is operated by owner Jagdish Singh (Jay) who manages the front and his partner Jacky Singh who supervises the kitchen as the Executive Chef. Both partners are committed to bringing the people of Greenwood Village and Denver the most extraordinary experience they’ve had with Indian Cuisine. It’s their experience that sets them apart from other competitors.
Jay has been in the Food and Beverage Industry for over 28 years of his life, preparing him well to operate a restaurant business with a great reputation for providing customer satisfaction. His personality, although conservative and straight forward is one of a very friendly, honest and a hardworking person. Prior to opening India’s Castle, Jay owned a restaurant in downtown Denver, but unsatisfied with the location Jay decided move his efforts to Greenwood Village. It was here in Greenwood Village where he teamed up with Jacky, a veteran chef to reveal the true authentic Indian Cuisine of Punjab, a state that represents the Northern Region of India. Thanks to the overwhelming response of India’s Castle’s customers, India’s Castle has now been in operation for over 7 years and hopes to win the hearts of many more customers in the future.
Jacky Singh is the executive chef of India’s Castle Restaurant. He is a personality that glows with charisma and hard work. His experience with North Indian Cuisine started when he was just a little kid. Jacky as a kid use to sit beside his mother and study the recipes and steps his mother used to prepare meals for their entire family. As Jacky got older, he realized that he had a niche for making Indian food. With his mind set on culinary career, Jacky’s destiny landed him in England where he worked along and trained with Executive Chefs of Indian Restaurants for 4 years. He then made his way to the United States, where he quickly got involved with Indian Restaurants and started learning the concept of East meets West Indian culinary. Eventually Jacky compiled enough culinary experience that he welcomed the proposal of becoming the Executive Chef of India’s Castle. Under Jacky Singh’s extensive experience and knowledge of Indian spices and Indian cookery, customers can expect flavorful entrees that will leave their taste buds fully satisfied and wanting to come back for more.
